54Freedom's participating charities have been hand selected. We have focused on 501(c)(3) charities that support underserved communities, many of them little-known charities supporting important causes where your donation can have the greatest impact.
To provide just a few examples, by selecting and donating to 54Freedom charities, our donors can make a huge difference in the lives of the first generation of female veterans to have seen combat, they can help address the unique needs of children for whom hospice support is needed, they can support the needs of preschool aged blind children, or help to make better the lives of animals everywhere.
We support many worthy causes. We invite you to review each and make them your own. Your job as donor is simply to select to which of these very worthy charities your donation will go. 54Freedom takes care of the rest. You will receive a letter from our accountants confirming your tax deductible contribution. Even more important, you will receive a thank you letter of recognition from each of the charities to which you have donated detailing the important work you have made possible. As part of the application process we ask our charities to become a member of www.guidestar.org, a third-party organization which reviews and validates charitable status and other important details.
